The Campaign and Candidate Committee supports registered Democrats running for office in Citrus County by providing training, resources, and guidance for effective campaigning. It actively recruits candidates, coordinates precinct organizations, and oversees voter outreach efforts, including voter registration and literature distribution. The committee collaborates with other CCDEC committees to maximize the efficiency of campaign strategies and election efforts, with State Committee Members automatically serving as members.

The Finance & Fundraising Committee is responsible for advising on financial matters and recommending strategies to raise funds for the CCDEC. It works closely with the Treasurer to prepare the annual budget and engages in approved fundraising initiatives to support the organization’s operational needs. The committee also selects auditors as necessary to ensure transparency and accountability.

The Diversity and Inclusion Committee  works to ensure that CCDEC's membership reflects the demographics of Citrus County, including factors such as gender, ethnicity, creed, and economic status. The committee expands participation in Democratic activities, reviews and recommends updates to policies and bylaws to align with state and national Democratic standards, and develops outreach plans to attract underrepresented groups. The chair also serves as a liaison to the Florida Democratic Party's Diversity and Inclusion Committee.

The Young Democrats Committee focuses on engaging youth under the age of 40 in Democratic activities, including voter registration, turnout efforts, and active involvement in campaigns. It aims to amplify youth voices on relevant issues and fosters the development of Young Democrats chapters throughout Citrus County. The committee also participates in statewide initiatives and ensures young leaders are integral to local Democratic efforts.

The Communication and Media Committee manages the CCDEC's public communications, including content for the website, social media, email campaigns, and press releases. All materials adhere to the guidance of the Platform, Policy, and Bylaws Committee to maintain consistency with Democratic messaging and values. This committee plays a crucial role in increasing visibility and engagement within the community.

The Platform, Policy, and Bylaws Committee focuses on analyzing and disseminating information on political issues at the local, state, and national levels. It assists in creating local platforms, proposing policy changes, and making updates to CCDEC bylaws. The chair of this committee also serves as an ex-officio member of the Communication and Media Committee, ensuring that the party’s messaging aligns with its overarching policy goals.
