The wonderful stray cat that has our hearts.

We were orphaned littermates, adopted by a Cat Lady who we keep amused.

Belle rescued us in Dec 2022. She help to comfort us after we lost our rescue, George in Aug 2022 (December Pet 2022). Shortly after her adoption, she ruptured her CCL and needed repair surgery. She was awesome during her rehabilitation and worked very hard to get back in tip top shape. As a result, she is an excellent athlete and swimmer. She is extremely intelligent and from her 8 weeks of PT, she knows numbers up to 15. She is a full blooded American Staffordshire Terrier.

Buddy, a three-year-old miniature Australian Shepard loves to go to rallys and meet new people. Here he is at the Pride Rally.

Classy is a 23 year old, much loved, palomino quarter horse mare, who had a history of winning in reining competitions in her heyday. After her young owner was finished with her, she ended up in a bad home where she was neglected. Fortunately she was rescued at age 18 and is now in a caring home. Classy once again trusts people and comes running whenever she sees people at the barn. She does not want to miss out on any opportunity to interact with her humans!!

Cooper is a five year old yellow lab, who thinks he's a cat. He has six kitty siblings, and loves to lay on the back of the couch with them. He weighs 90 pounds, but thinks he's a lap dog. His favorite hobby is watching wildlife in the back yard, or laying on the dock looking out at the water. His favorite human is a 4 year old boy named Tucker. Cooper is a happy dog.

Cracker was a rescue dog living at the humane society’s shelter. Harley Davidson partnered with them to rehome dogs. My husband knew he was ill and didn’t want me to be left alone. We went looking for a a small dog, but fell in love with this big, gentle, neglected soul. My husband Bill passed away a few months later & this dog saved me! We rescued each other. He made me get up each day, & play ball. I felt safe & have someone to hug! Mr. FL. Cracker! He has been my family for 6 years now along with our cat.

Double Puff or Puffs for short is an amazing addition to our family after his adoption in 2022. Both Cody and I started to look for a pet and felt a rescue dog would be the best option. We took him home that day and we got to see what an amazing dog he is. So loving and timid and loves crawling under the blankets with me at night and great us when we come home with a heart warming huff to let us know he is happy we are home.. He listens and is wonderful with kids. Sometimes I forget he is still a puppy. We are so happy he is in our life and makes our family whole.

Lucky stray cat Eddie was found by my granddaughter, who already had two cats. So, Eddie immigrated to Florida with me. He is probably the cat which will prove that "curiosity killed the cat"; if there is a new item in his sight, he must investigate it.

Finn and Penelope are Cavalier siblings.Finn is 3 years older than his little sister Penelope. They are happiest when they are with their humans. Favorite activities include visiting the dog park, wading in streams and watching Animal Planet during a quiet day at home.

Henrik is a Shepard mix. He was rescued after being abandoned in Texas. He quickly adapted to his forever home. Henrik loves to play with other dogs. His favorite treat is a bit of peanut butter.

Jeremiah was a bullfrog ( still is!)He was a good friend of mine (still is.)I never understood a word he says,But I helped him drink his wine!He reigns over the ponds in my yardAnd brings joy the the mosquito fishes in the deep blue seaAnd he’s here in the calendar to bring joy to you and me!

Jessie is a miniature poodle who was rescued from a life of breeding puppies. Now she enjoys sitting in the recliner with her dad and walks.

Kenzie is a Highland Lynx with polydactyl feet, and the only kitty in our house who is not a rescue. She's a floppy cuddle bug, who will fall asleep in any position, but usually upside down. She has 5 feline brothers and sisters, and one giant Lab brother, who she loves to cuddle with. Kenzie is a joy to have around, because you can't help but smile when you see her.

Lennie is an extremely sweet boy who is very energetic and playful. He adores going outside with his grandma and posing for the camera. Lennie always has a toy in his mouth and “checks” the house to keep grandma and daddies safe! Vote for Lennie and be sure to have a face full of “smooches”!

Lily is fourteen years old. She lives in sunny Hernando, Florida Lily is quite the conversationalist, bossing her humans and making her needs known to all. She enjoys naps, catching lizards, rubbing her face on feet and shoes, and a little catnip now and then.

When little foot is done, keeping peace in the house. She likes to slip underneath the covers for a cat nap.

I saw him when we moved here. He was feral. Took off at the slightest movement. One night, he didn't run, but kept his distance when I put out food. He ended up in my lap, rolled over, and let me rub his belly. His life is filled with food, treats and massive belly rubs. Lunchbox will never sleep outside again.

Malachi is a snoodle (schnauzer and poodle mix) with curly fur and a sweet disposition. He loves to play fetch and go for walks. Malachi is a rescue and loves his new family in New Orleans. He enjoys FaceTime visits with his Florida grandparents.

Milo was rescued from Hardin Haven in October 2024. He had lived in a cage for almost two years but now he has free range of his new home including the lanai where he watches birds, squirrels, and the unfortunate lizard who dares to tease him. Milo is a good boy unless you try to play with his “comfort frog.”

Moose is the coolest, Doodliest dog ever. He is a love bug and a good friend to people and pets.

Bonded pair from Citrus County Animal Services

Stella is a British Shorthair from Miami. Her breed was the model for the Cheshire Cat in Alice in Wonderland. She is driven to interrupt everything I do.

Sundae comes from Maine, is about 7 years old, and is great friends with her older siblings, dogs Jack and Jenny.

Thule is an 18 month old rescue. From a 3 pound flea infested pup to an all muscle 10.5 pound bundle of love and energy, he has brought joy to us all. A real smart one too. He's looked at the issues from all positions, and no matter how he looks at it - No One should be above the law of the land.

Tuukka is a Huskie Shepherd puppy.His mom was abandoned. She was brought to a shelter and received care and gave birth to four puppies. Tuukka and his siblings have been rescued and placed in loving homes.Tuukka is a playful and affectionate puppy. He enjoys playing with other dogs, running free in his yard and posing for photos.
