Our leadership team has been monitoring the Delta outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic closely and last night decided that in the interest of the health and safety of our community that we would postpone this event to a later date. We did not make this decision lightly, but with Governor DeSantis imposing fines on businesses and organizations that required proof of vaccination, we decided our options for having a safe event were greatly diminished. The Blue Gala was our biggest fundraiser of the year and traditionally supported funding for our physical office space and paid for operational expenses, including sending mailings to NPAs and newly registered Democrats in our county.
We need your help to raise the money to cover these expenses. We need 60 donors for our monthly recurring $22 for 2022 campaign to meet our fundraising goal.
